Escape From Tarkov is up to something, “Death in the Air” premieres in 2 days

Battlestate Games preparing for a new premiere, similar to the likes of the Raid Movie.

Update: If you haven’t noticed, the video thumbnail is changing, and every time there’s a change there is provided a new code that can be activated through Escape From Tarkov’s official website by clicking on Activate Promo Code. After doing that, you’re greeted with an in-game message and provided with some in-game items. This will likely continue throughout the day, but we’re still uncertain what this could be tied to. The livestream will start in 10 hours, and until then we can just speculate.

On June 3, we’ll see what Escape From Tarkov has been juggling with recently. More precisely, it seems that Battlestate Games, the developer behind Escape From Tarkov, is ready to premiere with something similar to what it did with the Raid Movie. The premiere is named “Death in the Air,” and this could be very well a surprise reveal of the Streets of Tarkov or, as others anticipate it, a potential reveal of the new and upcoming Terminal map. But I encourage you to read our propositions and read this thoroughly.

If you remember, Nikita Buyanov has previously stated that Escape From Tarkov Arena will hopefully release this year. Other than that, he also stated that Streets of Tarkov will hopefully launch before autumn with an incomplete version of the map, which should reserve other balances to meet its performance ultimatum. The last conjecture regarding this info comes from a known Tarkov streamer saying it could be related to the Terminal map.

The YouTube player is already live, and I have embedded it just below. If you wish not to miss the Livestream, you can set up a reminder through YouTube to get notified moments before the premiere goes live.

Prior to this announcement, Battlestate Games tweeted that tomorrow, June 2, they will release a new technical update for Escape From Tarkov, which could hold some information related to this event. The hopes are high because data miners might step in and share a fundamental discovery about the event after tomorrow’s update. Until tomorrow! Stay tuned for more info!
