Dark and Darker Hotfix #127 Brings Stash Sorting Before the October 9 Wipe
The patch also targets launch crashes, frame stuttering, dungeon bugs, and voice chat disconnects.

IRONMACE announced Dark and Darker Early Access Hotfix #127 in its Steam announcement, with a new Stash sorting button and a set of stability fixes ahead of the EAS 11 wipe scheduled for October 9. The update also includes server optimization work and several quality-of-life changes. The update follows Hotfix #123’s High Roller and Firedeep changes, which lowered the High Roller entry requirement and added the Emberwing monster to Firedeep.
The new Stash tool does more than tidy one page. It places loose Gold Coins and Arrows into available containers, combines matching stacks, and then sorts the current page by Weapons, Armor, Accessories, Utility, and Miscellaneous. Marketplace listings and item splitting also get quicker text entry, while dismantled Scrap can stack with matching rarity already in the inventory.
Stability work covers crashes during launch, frame stuttering, and Voice Chat disconnects between floors or during post-death spectating. Several dungeon issues are also addressed, including climbable walls in Forgotten Castle – Ruins, blocked Dwarves in The Goblin Cave – Firedeep, and misplaced or broken objects in The Blue Maelstrom. The full notes are below.
