Grand Theft Auto VI Will Lead Game Informer’s Next Cover Story

Grand Theft Auto VI will lead Game Informer’s next cover story, with a 14-page feature planned to include exclusive interviews with Rockstar Games and 12 screenshots that have not been shown publicly before.
Game Informer announced the cover on September 25, showing Jason and Lucia seated in a car against a Vice City backdrop. Both characters are armed in the stylized cover art. The feature will give readers new material on Rockstar’s upcoming open-world game before its planned launch.
Game Informer’s September 29, 2026 issue is scheduled to be available on Tuesday, September 29. Readers will be able to access the story digitally through the Game Informer app during the week of September 28, while a print copy will also be available with worldwide delivery.
The new screenshots will follow Rockstar’s August 27 extended look at Grand Theft Auto VI, which was captured entirely on a base PlayStation 5. That earlier presentation gives players a useful reference point for the visual detail expected from the new Game Informer material.
Grand Theft Auto VI is currently scheduled for November 19 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The Game Informer feature will arrive ahead of that release with Rockstar interviews and new screenshots as its main draw.
