EA SPORTS FC 27 is now available on Steam, giving PC players access to The Grounds and the game’s latest gameplay changes. EA confirmed the release in its Steam announcement. FC 27’s full PC release follows the Ultimate Edition early-access period, which began for Ultimate Edition owners on September 17 in New York and offered up to seven days of early access.
The Grounds connects street play and stadium football
The Grounds brings street-style activities, Kickabouts, small-sided matches, and Clubs together in one shared football space. The feature includes three districts and connects social activities with 11v11 and Rush matches, giving players more ways to spend time outside traditional fixtures. The Clubs experience in The Grounds also supports Leagues, Playoffs, Club Tournaments, and shared objectives.
EA says the full release delivers greater control across every mode through community-driven gameplay work designed to provide a more true-to-football feel. That gives the launch a wider focus than The Grounds alone, with the new social space sitting alongside changes across the rest of the game.
Ultimate Edition rewards arrive with the launch
Players who choose the Ultimate Edition receive up to 6,000 FC Points across 3 months, an additional Football Ultimate Team Player Evolution Slot, and more launch bonuses.
The full release follows the 10-hour EA Play trial that became available on September 18. Players who buy the game can carry their progress into the full version, so time spent in the trial does not require a fresh start, as detailed in the EA SPORTS FC 27 trial coverage.
