Helldivers 2’s Devoid of Liberty 7.1.1 Targets 2 PC Crash Triggers

The hotfix addresses a Fullscreen terminal crash and another issue affecting superwide windows.

Helldivers 2‘s Devoid of Liberty 7.1.1 hotfix targets two PC crash cases, including one that could happen when opening terminals in Fullscreen and another tied to superwide windows, according to the Steam patch notes. The narrower stability pass follows Helldivers 2’s 7.1.0 update, which expanded Evacuate High-Value Assets missions and adjusted enemy spawning in version 7.1.0.

The published notes focus on stability rather than new content or combat changes. Players using superwide displays are the clearest audience for one fix, while the other addresses a crash linked specifically to Fullscreen terminal use.

Version 7.1.1 follows the earlier 7.0.2 crash fixes, which covered problems in Vehicle Customization, Dynamic Resolution Scaling, and Message of the Day. The latest hotfix keeps its scope limited to display and terminal-related crashes.
