Dune: Awakening players can now add movie-inspired armor, stillsuits, weapons, emotes, and base decorations to their time on Arrakis. Funcom released the $9.99 Filmic Archive DLC on September 22, with 73 new Sardaukar building pieces included in the pack. The developer outlined the release in a Steam news post.
The collection draws from Dune: Part One and Dune: Part Two. The Caladan Stormcoat is based on the clothing worn by Duke Leto and Paul, while the Aegis of an Unwalked Path armor takes inspiration from Paul Atreides’ visions of Fremen holy warriors. Players can also use the new Sardaukar pieces to give their bases an Imperial military style.
The release follows Funcom’s previously announced September 22 launch plans, which connected the DLC with the game’s console debut and full single-player mode. Dune: Awakening is now available on PC, PlayStation 5, and XBOX, although cross-play is still in development and will arrive in a later update.
Discounts and rewards are available now
Funcom is also offering its deepest discount yet on the base game, with the standard edition 50% off. The Deluxe Edition is discounted by 36%, while the Ultimate Edition is 28% off.
Players who log in between September 17 and October 22 can receive the Matron’s Décor collection for their bases. Anyone returning after at least 28 days away will also receive a welcome-back package based on their research tier.
A new community challenge begins September 25
The next Community Challenge, El Sayldam: The Rain of Blood, will begin on September 25. Players on every platform will be able to participate, giving new, current, and returning survivors another reason to visit Arrakis during the DLC launch window.

Players create a custom character and must manage thirst, maintain stillsuits, and contend with environmental hazards like sandstorms, extreme heat, and roaming sandworms. As players progress, they advance through phases from basic survival to leading a guild, eventually participating in faction warfare between House Atreides and House Harkonnen.
