Starship Troopers: Extermination will lose matchmaking and server sessions for 90 minutes beginning at 6:00 a.m. UTC on September 22, 2026. The scheduled outage will prevent players from starting or maintaining online sessions during the maintenance window.

The game’s developer shared the warning in a Steam announcement, explaining that Epic Online Services maintenance will affect matchmaking and server sessions. Existing player sessions will time out and clients will be disconnected, while new session creation, invites, searching, and matchmaking will be temporarily unavailable.

Epic’s maintenance specifically covers its Sessions and Lobbies services. Players who need current service information can check Epic’s status page during the outage.
