War Thunder’s 241st Screenshot Contest Will Bring Architecture Into the Frame

Players will have until September 18, 2026, to submit raw in-game shots featuring vehicles and buildings, bridges, or other architecture for a chance at 300 Golden Eagles.

War Thunder‘s 241st Steam Screenshot Competition will put architecture at the center, giving players until September 18, 2026, to capture a vehicle alongside buildings, bridges, or another developed setting. The round is about showing how much atmosphere the battlefield’s surroundings can add to a vehicle shot.

Six winners will be selected after submissions close. Three entries will receive the highest community ratings, while judges will select the other three, and every winner will receive 300 Golden Eagles. Rewards will be delivered to each winner’s account within 14 working days. Gaijin Entertainment outlined the rules in its Steam announcement.

How to enter the Steel and Stone competition

Participants should create a new screenshot in War Thunder, then upload it through the War Thunder Steam Community Hub submission page. The entry title must contain #WTscreen241 and nothing else.

  1. Capture a vehicle with architecture visible in the scene. Buildings and bridges are specifically suitable examples, but other developed areas can also fit the theme.
  2. Upload the new screenshot to the competition page.
  3. Use #WTscreen241 as the complete title.

Rules for eligible screenshots

The image must be the entrant’s own work, follow War Thunder’s rules, and not have been published or submitted to another competition before. Gaijin will accept only raw screenshots captured in the game, so outside editing software and visual enhancements such as Nvidia Ansel filters are not allowed.

Built-in War Thunder filters and settings are permitted, as is the game’s replay functionality. Artists can also win through popular voting only once during any four-competition period.

The architecture theme follows War Thunder’s 240th contest, which asked participants to feature custom skins, decals, decorators, or other personal touches on their vehicles. The new round trades that customization angle for the structures and surroundings that frame each machine.

Beyond Standard winners from the 240th contest

The previous competition has now concluded with three community-voted winners and three judge-selected winners. Each winning entry will receive 300 Golden Eagles.
