Crimson Desert Version 2.02.00 Fixes Thornbriar Fortress and a DLSS Frame Generation Crash
The update also addresses missing trade goods, a quest item that could vanish, UI text shaking, and Arabic localization problems.

Crimson Desert Version 2.02.00 is available now on Steam for PC and Mac, with fixes aimed at progression blockers, save-file item loss, graphics settings, and localization. Pearl Abyss detailed the patch in its Steam patch announcement. The notice says the rollout is continuing across all platforms, but only marks Steam (PC) and Steam (Mac) as available now. The latest patch follows Version 2.01.00 patch, which added the Gold Bar Investment Mission and addressed bugs spanning camp management, combat, UI, graphics, and localization.
Players should no longer hit a blocker when trying to liberate Thornbriar Fortress. Other content fixes cover housing at Howling Hill Camp when the inventory is full, missing belongings revealed by a lantern, trade goods disappearing from storage, and a letter that could vanish during The Words of Alustin.
Graphics settings receive a targeted fix as well. Starting a new game with DLSS Frame Generation enabled could cause a crash, and Version 2.02.00 addresses that problem. The update also includes another fix for certain Arabic text not displaying correctly, alongside broader localization improvements.
The patch follows Crimson Desert Version 2.00.01, which also addressed abnormal Arabic text in some situations, along with lip-sync, frame-rate, and Mac launch issues.
