MGE.tf will return for another Team Fortress 2 competitive season, bringing 2 new game modes, 2 new regions, and prizes that include keys and medals. The upcoming event will cover North America, Europe, Asia, Australia, and South America, with a 6-week regular season leading into playoffs. The official Team Fortress announcement confirms that sign-ups will remain open until October 3, 2026.
The season will feature four formats, including MGE 1v1, MGE 2v2, Ultiduo, and BBALL. The returning MGE modes will test individual skill and two-player coordination, while Ultiduo will focus on teamwork around Medic or Soldier play. BBALL will send pairs onto the court for another test of communication, movement, and aim.
Keys and medals will be on the line
Players and teams will compete for keys, medals, and the usual competitive currency of bragging rights. Ultiduo and BBALL will be free to enter, giving players a lower-risk way to join the season or try a format outside their usual specialty.
Registration is available through the MGE.tf sign-up page, and the deadline is October 3. The event’s five-region structure should give more players a chance to find a local competitive field, although the announcement does not provide a start date for the regular season.
