Capcom will bring Resident Evil 2, Resident Evil 3, and Resident Evil 4 to Nintendo Switch 2 as digital releases on October 16, 2026. All three games will launch on the same day, giving Switch 2 players a single date for the modern survival horror trilogy.

Nintendo announced the lineup during a Nintendo Switch 2 Direct presentation. The release lineup includes Resident Evil 2 Deluxe Edition, Resident Evil 3, and Resident Evil 4 Gold Edition.
Switch 2 edition details
Resident Evil 2 Deluxe Edition will include the base game and an extra DLC pack with two Leon costumes, three Claire costumes, a deluxe Samurai Edge weapon, and a soundtrack swap option.
Resident Evil 4 Gold Edition will bundle the base game with the Separate Ways DLC, which stars Ada Wong. It will also include the Extra DLC pack with additional character outfits, weapons, and items.
Capcom has not detailed extra content for the Switch 2 version of Resident Evil 3, but it will launch alongside the other two games on October 16. Pricing details for the three releases were not included in the announcement.
