Steam’s apparent API exposure has made achievement data visible for hundreds, and possibly thousands, of games that are not public yet. Exophase’s tracker now includes known projects, unannounced titles, and Steam entries that still have placeholder text or nothing more than an App ID. The apparent batch of entries became a major topic on September 9, 2026, but it has not been independently verified and should be treated as a collection of clues rather than confirmation. A discussion of the apparent leak helped draw wider attention to the batch.
Exophase tracks achievements and trophies across multiple systems, which can allow entries for unreleased games to surface before their publishers are ready to discuss them. Exophase owner Mike Bendel, who posts as x3sphere, described the issue in a ResetEra discussion, explaining that achievement data intended to remain private became reachable through Valve’s API. That would explain why unnamed Steam App ID pages appeared alongside entries with incomplete localization and placeholder achievement text. Valve had not commented at publication, and the exposure does not establish that the data reflects final plans.
Known projects in the apparent batch include Persona 6, Deus Ex Remastered, Horizon Hunters Gathering, Judas, Kingdom Hearts 4, Ace Combat 8, Attack on Titan 3, Kena: Scars of Kosmora, Star Wars: Galactic Racer, Stranger Than Heaven, Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis, and Control Resonant. Other entries name Gears of War: E-Day, Silent Hill: Townfall, Turok Origins, Persona 4 Revival, Final Fantasy Resonance, and Metro 2039.
Kingdom Hearts 4 is among the more revealing entries. Its apparent achievements point to several Disney-themed worlds beyond Coco, which is the only publicly known world associated with the game so far. The set also appears to reference the game’s final boss. A corresponding SteamDB achievement page provides another public record of the listing, although achievement text is not a final content list and could change before release.
Persona 6 is one of the most closely watched projects in the batch. Its apparent achievement listing references Yokohama, the Hex group, six apparent dungeons, and a social system built around 80 Connections. Those details surfaced on September 8, while the broader leak drew further attention during the early hours of September 9. The page still offers no launch date, and its achievement text could change before release. Neither Persona 6 nor Kingdom Hearts 4 has an official release date, leaving spoiler-conscious players without a firm cutoff.
Unannounced projects add another layer
Some of the pages appear to belong to games that have not been announced or named in Steam’s backend. One entry has been connected to a possible Balatro follow-up based on its image thumbnails, while another appears to support the rumor that Thief: The Dark Project Remastered will include a new campaign called The Tarnished Mirror.
The apparent group may also include an unannounced Dune game, a possible Shrek 2 Remaster, an unannounced port of Professor Layton vs Phoenix Wright, an Animal Crossing-style Nickelodeon project, a possible The Walking Dead collection associated with Telltale Games, and a new Tetris title. Other apparent entries are connected to Avengers, Sonic, Slime Rancher, Toem, and Brawl Stars. None of those entries confirms that the projects have been formally announced, and some may contain placeholder data or belong to cancelled prototypes.
A separate Twin Peaks entry currently contains only two achievements. One is a test achievement, while the other references reaching the Double R Diner. That does not confirm a new Twin Peaks game, since the project could be an abandoned prototype. The only released Twin Peaks game was Twin Peaks VR, which did not feature the Double R Diner.
An apparent Sea of Thieves sequel or spin-off also appears in the data. Its achievement set does not explain whether the project would continue the existing multiplayer format or take the series in another direction, so the entry only establishes that a related Steam listing exists.
Remasters and new entries fill out the list
The apparent database entries are not limited to new games. Alongside Deus Ex Remastered and Thief: The Dark Project Remastered, they name projects such as Crazy Taxi: World Tour, Danganronpa 2X2, Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3, Dynasty Warriors 3 Complete Remastered, and Mega Man Dual Override. Other entries include Lords of the Fallen II and Minecraft Dungeons 2.
Those names add more examples to a batch that spans sequels, remasters, spin-offs, and entirely unfamiliar projects. Their presence does not explain whether the games are close to release, still early in development, or abandoned, and the data provides no reliable schedule for any of them.
The apparent leak may also point to a PC version of Squadron 42, the single-player campaign tied to Star Citizen. The game was recently delayed to Q2 2027, and its Exophase achievement page could indicate that a Steam release is being prepared. It does not confirm a launch plan.
Achievement data could spoil unreleased games
Work in progress lists can reveal more than a game’s existence. Locations, story-related goals, named characters, and progression milestones can all surface through achievement text, creating a spoiler risk for games that may still be years away. The Persona 6 and Kingdom Hearts 4 entries show how quickly unfinished metadata can turn into public clues about settings, systems, and possible content.
Achievement data can change before a game is released, and an entry on a third-party tracking site does not prove that every listed project is ready for public disclosure. An achievement page also does not confirm a release date, a finished feature set, or that every description will survive into the final game. Until Valve or the developers comment, the safest conclusion is that Exophase has exposed a large batch of database entries that may include real projects alongside provisional, abandoned, or incorrect data.
Taken together, the entries make the situation more than a single game’s stray listing, but the most revealing details will need confirmation from the companies behind these titles.
