Pokémon GO Removes Sucker Punch From Zoroark After a Few Hours

The temporary move entry showed 5 damage in Gyms & Raids and led some Trainers to speculate about a possible Zorua Community Day in October.

Pokémon GO has removed Sucker Punch from Zoroark after the Dark-type Pokémon briefly gained access to the Fast Move. The move was available for only a few hours before disappearing. The brief live test followed preliminary move-data findings, which had identified Sucker Punch as an unannounced Zoroark move entry without published battle values.

During that short window, Zoroark’s Gyms & Raids move screen displayed Sucker Punch with 5 damage. No full PvP value or energy cost was provided before the temporary entry was removed.

Earlier preliminary move data had listed Sucker Punch as an unannounced Zoroark addition alongside a wider set of battle changes. Its sudden appearance and removal gave Trainers little time to assess what the move might have meant for Zoroark.

Some Trainers connected the brief addition to a possible Zorua Community Day in October, where Sucker Punch could potentially return as a featured move. The temporary listing does not confirm that event or establish that the move will come back.
