Gorr Will Be Able to Turn Executed Enemies Into Black Berserkers in Marvel Rivals Season 10
The Duelist will arrive on September 11 with the Necrosword, a God Quarry Domination map, and a Scarlet Witch rework.

Gorr the God Butcher will join Marvel Rivals when Season 10 launches on September 11, but his Necrosword is not the only threat he brings. The new Duelist will be able to execute enemies, absorb their flesh, and turn them into Black Berserkers that fight alongside him.
The September 11 launch and Gorr’s arrival were already outlined in the Season 10 schedule. New details now show how the God Butcher will work once players can take him into battle.
Gorr can build an army during a fight
Gorr will enter the roster as a damage-focused Duelist wielding All-Black, the Necrosword. The weapon will take different forms depending on the situation, giving him several ways to pressure opponents.
His most unusual mechanic will come from defeated enemies. After executing an opponent and absorbing its flesh, Gorr will be able to create a Black Berserker. Those creatures can remain on the battlefield and fight for him, allowing Gorr to grow his forces during longer engagements.
Symbiote assimilation will give Gorr mobility across the battlefield, letting him close gaps or reposition before enemies can react. His Ultimate Ability will transform All-Black into the Annihilablade and command every active Black Berserker to join him in a powerful assault.
The Gorr character reveal trailer gives a closer look at the God Butcher and the dark tone of his arrival.
Season 10 adds the God Quarry and Scarlet Witch changes
Gorr will be tied to the God Quarry, a new Domination map planned for September 24. The location connects to his story and the Faith-Harvesting Engine, which he is using as he hunts down deities across the Chronoverse.

Scarlet Witch will also receive a rework when the season begins. Her abilities, passive, and Ultimate will all work differently after the changes, adding another major gameplay adjustment alongside the new hero.
Pajama Party costumes will be available at launch. The September 18 update will bring the Jeff’s Dream Eater and Jeff’s Superstar Seeking events, while the September 24 update will add God Quarry and bring back Galacta’s Gift.
The second half of the season will continue the Path to Doomsday storyline with Phase 3: Avengers Infinity War and Phase 4: Avengers Endgame. Season 10.5 will also add two new game modes. NetEase has said that Season 10 will be the only season with one hero, with Season 11 returning to the usual two-hero plan.
Gorr will lead the first half of Season 10 with a kit built around executions, summoned allies, and aggressive movement. Tell us what you think about his arrival in the comments, and follow us on X, Bluesky, YouTube, Instagram, Steam, and Telegram.
