The Blood of Dawnwalker has passed 1 million copies sold worldwide, giving Rebel Wolves’ action RPG a strong early result just days after launch. Rebel Wolves confirmed the milestone on Sept. 5 in a message thanking players, with the accompanying announcement graphic stating that more than 1 million copies had been sold worldwide. The game launched on PC on Sept. 2 before arriving on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox on PC on Sept. 3. Its staggered launch put the sales milestone within its first few days on the market.
Set in a dark open world ruled by vampires, The Blood of Dawnwalker is Rebel Wolves’ debut intellectual property. The studio’s team includes former developers of The Witcher, giving the project a clear connection to one of the best-known modern fantasy RPG series.
At the time of the announcement, SteamDB’s player charts showed a peak of 65,433 concurrent players on Steam. Rebel Wolves has not provided a breakdown of sales by platform.
Coen has limited time to save his family from Knyaz Brencis, while the day-night cycle lets players draw on human skills or vampiric powers. That setup now has a 1 million-copy audience behind it.
