NBA 2K27 has launched, opening Season 1 across The City, MyTEAM, and MyCAREER. Players can earn XP in each mode and unlock new rewards as they begin the latest basketball season. 2K confirmed the launch in its Steam announcement.
The global release on September 4 follows the August 26 early access window outlined in the NBA 2K27 preseason breakdown. With the full launch now live, the game’s main modes and Season 1 progression are available together.
The Standard and Deluxe Editions feature Victor Wembanyama and Caitlin Clark, while the Ultra Edition features Derrick Rose. The Ultra Edition will remain available through September 6. Deluxe and Ultra Editions are unavailable in Belgium, Brazil, and South Korea, with the official availability FAQ covering the regional restrictions.
