The First Descendant Compensation Package Includes 10 Ultimate Alignment Devices
Players can claim the one-time package through September 9, while the rewards remain in their in-game mail until September 18.
The First Descendant is offering compensation for the Transcendent Weapon farming issue that followed the Season 4 Episode 1 update. The package includes 10 Ultimate Alignment Devices, three temporary acquisition boosts, and millions of Gold and Kuiper Shards.
The reward window runs from September 4, 2026, at 02:00 PDT through September 9, 2026, at 07:59 PDT. The compensation follows the Season 4 Episode 1 update, which introduced the issue addressed in the developer’s latest notice.

To claim the package, launch the game, open the Mailbox, and check your mail. Each account can receive the compensation only once. The reward mail can be claimed until September 18, 2026, at 02:00 PDT, giving players longer to collect it than the initial claim window.
Alongside the compensation, the Dev Note vol. 29 announcement covers the cause of the farming issue, the response to it, and the developer’s plans to prevent a repeat. The notice also includes a developer QNA covering questions shared by players after the Season 4 Episode 1 update.
