Albion Online Will Let Players Earn the Steelplate Cougar With 1 Referral in September

Qualifying referrals can also unlock T7 and T8 Piles of Tomes, plus 500 Gold for each friend who meets the requirements.

Albion Online players will have a new reason to invite a friend in September. Referring 1 person who signs up and buys at least 30 days of Premium will unlock the Steelplate Cougar, an armored Swiftclaw mount skin.

Sandbox Interactive detailed the promotion in its Steam announcement. Sending a referral link alone will not be enough, since the new player must complete the Premium purchase before the rewards become available.

Rewards for qualifying referrals

The first referral unlocks the mount skin, while bringing in more friends adds Fame rewards. Players who have never referred anyone before also receive an extra T8 reward.

Refer 1 friend to receive the Steelplate Cougar mount skin.
Refer 3 friends to receive a T7 Pile of Tomes worth 100,000 Fame.
Refer 5 friends to receive a T8 Pile of Tomes worth 200,000 Fame.
First-ever referral bonus grants another T8 Pile of Tomes worth 200,000 Fame.
Each qualifying friend also provides 500 Gold.

How to qualify for the mount skin

After signing in with the game account, find the personal referral link on the referral overview page.
Share the link with a friend who has not yet signed up for Albion Online.
Have the friend create an account and purchase at least 30 days of Premium through the Albion Online Web Shop or the in-game store.

Premium bought with in-game currencies such as Gold or Silver does not count toward the referral requirements. The new campaign follows an earlier referral offer that featured the Ol’ Betsy mount skin and ran through August 31, giving players another themed reward to chase with a single friend.
