World of Tanks’ September Calendar Will Bring Update 2.4 and Azure Phoenix

World of Tanks has a busy September ahead, with Update 2.4, Battle Pass Season XXI, a new Onslaught season, and several returning events scheduled across the month and into October. Wargaming’s September WoT Monthly calendar also notes that the schedule is not a full overview and that some details may change.

Update 2.4 and Battle Pass Season XXI are scheduled for September 2

Update 2.4 is scheduled to begin on September 2 alongside Battle Pass Season XXI. The update will add a new German heavy Tech Tree branch, a Personal Missions Operation, launch Drops, and what the calendar describes as the game’s biggest audiovisual revamp in years.

Battle Pass Season XXI will run from September 2 through November 25. It will give players another chance to earn Battle Pass Tokens in 2026, with rewards including the Tier IX KB-52 and Saryuda, Bounty Equipment, bonds, credits, and other items. Across its 3 chapters, the season will also add 15 new 3D attachments. Onslaught’s Azure Phoenix season begins September 1

Onslaught: Azure Phoenix will begin on September 1 and run through October 10. The season will offer the progressive 2D style Undying Flame (Azure) and the new Tier X Fireborn, an exclusive tank that comes with its own progressive 3D style.

The new Phoenix cycle will also bring tweaked rules intended to create more balanced Onslaught battles. Night Maps will add another tactical layer to matches, with darkness changing how teams approach each fight. Azure Phoenix is the first season in the Year of the Phoenix cycle announced in August.

First Deployment rewards players for using German heavy tanks

First Deployment will run from September 4 through September 14, following the launch of the new German heavy line. Players will earn Tokens by completing 2 repeatable missions. Any vehicle can earn 1 Token, but the new German heavy tanks will earn 2.

The Tokens can be spent in the First Deployment Token Store on rewards that include familiar crew members and a new German-themed 2D style. Twitch Drops and bundles will also be available during the event.

Waffenträger returns with a new storyline chapter

From September 18 through September 28, Waffenträger will return with the next chapter of its mysterious storyline. Professor von Krieger will be back, although intelligence reports suggest his motives may have changed. The Harriers will once again be called on to help save the world.

AMD Onslaught Legends Series Season 7 starts September 8

AMD Onslaught Legends Series Season 7 will run from September 8 through October 11. The competitive matches will be streamed on Twitch, while the Supporter bundle will let players predict the season’s winner, add to the prize pool, and receive exclusive customizations.
