Crimson Desert Version 2.00.01 Fixes Arabic Text and Mac Launch Issues
The patch also improves lip-sync in some cutscenes and addresses frame-rate drops.

Crimson Desert Version 2.00.01 is now available on Steam for PC and Mac. The patch is being distributed across all platforms, although the notice only confirms immediate availability for the two Steam versions. Pearl Abyss published the details in its Steam patch announcement.
This is a compact maintenance release covering language display, character animation, performance, and Mac launch stability. Players using Arabic should see corrected text in situations where some characters previously appeared abnormally, while certain cutscenes receive partial lip-sync improvements.
The patch also addresses frame-rate drops that could happen in specific situations. Mac players get a separate fix for cases where Crimson Desert would not launch in certain macOS environments.
Version 2.00.01 follows Version 1.18.02, which addressed camp resource displays, quest-related silver, movement animations, and shop interactions. Our Version 1.18.02 coverage has the details from that earlier patch.
