Starship Troopers: Extermination has a compact repair job scheduled for later on August 21, 2026. Update 12 Hotfix 1 will become available at approximately 12:00 p.m. PT, so the patch is still upcoming rather than already live.

According to the Steam announcement, the hotfix focuses on five problems affecting the Toxic Sunrise Supporter Pack, Galactic Front story text, Japanese localization, Horde mode, and the X-11 Quarry tunnel. It is a small follow-up, but the targets are clear—and nobody wants to get stuck fighting bugs inside the bug game.

The biggest changes address access to supporter-pack content, incorrect or missing text, floating MHQ screens in Horde, and navigation problems inside the X-11 Quarry tunnel.

Fixed Toxic Sunrise Supporter Pack not unlocking in Steam builds.
Fixed various localization issues with the Galactic Front stories.
Fixed incorrect displays of Japanese localization.
Fixed the floating MHQ screens in Horde.
Fixed navigation issues in X-11 Quarry tunnel.
