Euro Truck Simulator 2’s Coaches DLC Will Let You Own a Coach and Run Scheduled Routes
Players will be able to buy coaches separately from trucks, use shared finances, and take passenger jobs with multiple stops.

Euro Truck Simulator 2 is preparing to let drivers swap freight for passengers with the upcoming Coaches DLC. SCS Software has detailed coach ownership, customization, and the new passenger job schedule system in its Steam announcement.
Players will be able to purchase coaches through the Online Dealer and keep them in a virtual garage. Those vehicles can be inspected, customized, managed, or sold whenever needed. Coaches will have their own storage space, so buying one will not use an existing truck garage slot.

Coach purchases will share finances with trucks
The truck and coach sides of the company will use the same finances. Before buying a personal coach, drivers can earn money through Coach Quick Jobs or regular truck work. Loans and financing will also be available, although payments will need to be made on time.
Customization will cover several parts of each vehicle. Depending on the model, drivers will be able to select chassis layouts, engine and transmission variants, seat upholstery colors, curtains, and compatible cabin accessories. Some parts will remain locked until players gain more experience.

Contract Jobs add scheduled passenger services
Owning a coach will also allow drivers to travel freely across the map instead of taking only scheduled services. Viewpoints and long-distance road trips will remain available, while fuel consumption, fatigue, and other familiar systems will continue to work as they do for owned trucks.
The new Contract Jobs menu will show passenger services in cities near the driver’s current position. After choosing a route, the driver must first reach the correct bus station. Confirming the line there will advance the game to its scheduled departure time, allowing passengers to board before the journey begins.
Many services will include several stops, and routes will vary in difficulty according to the driver’s experience and skill. More demanding journeys will provide higher earnings and more experience, giving players a reason to work their way toward the tougher passenger runs.
