War Thunder is marking India’s Independence Day with a new video in the “Мгновения доблести: Индия” series, a 50% discount on one vehicle bundle, and a 30% discount on a Sea Hawk pack. The discounted PC offers will remain available until 12:00 (UTC+3) on August 24, as detailed in Gaijin Entertainment’s Steam announcement.
India became an independent nation on August 15, 1947. The holiday traditionally includes the prime minister raising the national flag at Delhi’s Red Fort, the national anthem, and a 21-gun salute.
The new video focuses on India, while the in-game offers bring several Indian-themed vehicles and camouflages to the spotlight.
The “Лишь истина торжествует” bundle is half off
The “Лишь истина торжествует” bundle is priced at 4,387 instead of 8,774. It contains two vehicle packs, two special camouflages, and the matching title:
- Vijayanta pack, Rank VI, Britain.
- MiG-21 Bison pack, Rank VIII, Britain.
- Special “Ashoka’s Hammer” camouflage.
- Special “C773” camouflage.
- The “Лишь истина торжествует” title.
The two vehicle packs inside the bundle are also available separately at 30% off. On PC, players can find the offers by opening the hangar and selecting Shop > Online Shop.
Players on any platform who already own all of the vehicles from the “Лишь истина торжествует” bundle can earn its title without buying the bundle. To qualify, they must complete three battles with at least 70% activity on each vehicle by August 24. The task applies to random battles and excludes Assault missions.
Progress can be checked by selecting your nickname, then opening Achievements > Festive Dates > Moments of Valor: India.
The Sea Hawk pack gets a 30% discount
The Sea Hawk pack is reduced from 3,249 to 2,274 for PC players. It includes:
- Sea Hawk Mk.100, Rank V, Germany.
- Special “300-я эскадрилья” camouflage.
- 15 days of Premium Account time.
- 2,000 Golden Eagles.
