Overwatch 2’s August 13 Hotfix Fixes D.Mon Bugs and Slows Jetpack Cat
D.Mon gets faster attack timings and hitbox fixes, while Jetpack Cat loses movement speed and part of Purr's self-healing.

Blizzard’s latest Overwatch patch notes cover the August 13, 2026 retail hotfix, with D.Mon receiving bug fixes and faster attack timings while Jetpack Cat gets two mobility-related nerfs.
The entry is marked as a hotfix, and replay codes from the August 11 patch remain available. D.Mon’s changes focus on hit registration, Overhealth, hitboxes, and attack flow. Jetpack Cat’s base movement speed falls from 6 to 5.5 meters per second, while Purr’s self-healing penalty rises from 25% to 40%.
D.Mon gets bug fixes and quicker attacks
D.Mon’s Portable Fusion Repeater and Limit Break both receive fixes for issues that could prevent hits or Overhealth from working correctly. Her mech’s hitbox also gets attention, including a correction for damage coming from the front while Power Barrier is deployed and an adjustment to the height of the mech head hitbox.
Her offensive timing is faster as well. Surging Strike has shorter cast and recovery times, while Fusion Repeater’s cast and recovery timings are reduced too.
Jetpack Cat loses speed and healing power
Jetpack Cat’s base movement speed is reduced by 0.5 meters per second. The Purr ability also carries a larger self-healing penalty, increasing from 25% to 40%.
The hotfix follows the broader August 11 update, which introduced Season 4 content, D.Mon, Emerald rank, and a wide hero balance pass. This follow-up keeps its scope focused on D.Mon and Jetpack Cat.
