EA SPORTS™ Madden NFL 27 Advanced Access is now live for players who purchased the MVP Bundle or Deluxe Edition, giving them up to three days of play before the worldwide launch. EA confirmed the access period in its Steam announcement.
The early-access window began on August 10 in parts of the Americas and will reach other regions on August 11. The full release is scheduled for August 13 or August 14 depending on location, with the regional launch schedule breaking down the local timing.
Both qualifying editions come with access ahead of launch, but the MVP Bundle packs in more football. It includes College Football 27 along with Deluxe Edition rewards for both games.
Persona Engine changes Franchise mode
Madden NFL 27 puts its Persona Engine at the center of Franchise mode. Every NFL athlete has an individual personality that affects their motivations, demands, and reactions, giving league decisions more consequences from one roster move to the next.
On the field, the game adds more precise control to wide receiver and defensive back battles, along with new short-yardage mechanics. Defensive coverage improvements and extra strategic settings before the snap give players more ways to prepare for each play.
Outside Franchise, the new Superstar G.O.A.T. Career Journey offers a longer path toward building an NFL legacy. Ultimate Team also adds Captains, giving players more control over how they customize their roster.
