18 PS5 Games Are Scheduled for the Week of August 10–16

The lineup includes Grounded 2's early-access PS5 launch, Madden NFL 27, and Hell Let Loose: Vietnam, with most releases arriving on August 13.

The week of August 10–16, 2026 will bring 18 games to PS5, with new releases scheduled from Monday through Friday. The lineup jumps between survival horror, arcade sports, action platformers, tank combat, farming mysteries, and more.

Most of the activity is packed into Thursday, August 13, when 12 games are scheduled to arrive. The week also includes the PS5 early-access launch of Grounded 2 on August 11, while Madden NFL 27 will follow later in the week.

Here is the full PS5 release schedule for the week.

PS5 games scheduled for August 10–16

Monday, August 10

  • The Three Kingdoms: Rebirth — PS5: This role-playing adventure sends a modern-day character into an alternate version of the Three Kingdoms era. Romance, military ambition, and difficult choices can lead to very different outcomes, including a deadly end.

Tuesday, August 11

  • Grounded 2 — PS5: Obsidian’s miniature survival adventure will arrive in early access, rather than as its full 1.0 release. Players will shrink down to insect size, travel through overgrown human spaces, uncover secrets, and use combat-ready buggies while trying to survive.
  • No More Room in Hell 2 — PS5: Players take on the role of emergency responders sent into zombie-filled locations. Missions require cooperation, but infection and permanent death can turn any run into a very short one.

Wednesday, August 12

  • Akatori — PS5 and PS4: This metroidvania-style action platformer follows Mako, a teenager raised at the Firebird Temple. Her journey takes her across several worlds as she tries to stop the Amber Storms corrupting living things.
  • Pro Jank Footy — PS5: An over-the-top arcade sports game built around deliberately chaotic football action.

Thursday, August 13

  • CloverPit — PS5: This roguelite traps players in a grimy cell containing a slot machine and an ATM. Each round brings another attempt to clear a debt before the whole run collapses.
  • Defender of the Crown: The Legend Returns — PS5: The classic strategy title returns on Sony’s console.
  • Duskfade — PS5: Zirian and his mechanical Cuckoo will jump, swing, and fight through a 3D action platformer filled with time-based obstacles. Their goal is to rescue Zirian’s sister from a clock tower that has plunged the land into endless night.
  • Future Knight — PS5: This 2D shoot ’em up borrows its visual style from old LCD handheld games while adding frantic combat and an unusual story.
  • Hell Let Loose: Vietnam — PS5: Team-based battles move to the Vietnam War, with mountain gorges and dense jungle serving as the backdrop. Players can build tunnels, fly helicopters, drive patrol boats, use period-accurate weapons, and coordinate with their squad.
  • Madden NFL 27 — PS5: EA Sports’ latest football game adds the Persona Engine to Franchise mode, giving NFL players individual motivations and reactions. New gameplay systems include more detailed receiver-versus-defensive-back battles, short-yardage mechanics, coverage changes, and extra pre-play controls. Superstar G.O.A.T. Career Journey and customizable Ultimate Team Captains round out the major additions mentioned for this release.
  • Nightmare Delivery — PS5: This cooperative psychological horror game casts players as couriers sent to locations where no ordinary delivery should ever go.
  • Nightmare Shift — PS5: Night work at a remote motel becomes increasingly unsettling as strange guests and disturbing events pile up. The story also follows Emma’s apartment life, with a growing sense that someone is watching and reality cannot be trusted.
  • Panzer Knights: Commander’s Edition — PS5: Players command a German panzer platoon during World War II in a tank simulation that combines strategic decisions with third-person combat. Specialized ammunition, enemy weak points, and tactical support all factor into each battle.
  • Skatesterre — PS5: A fast arcade skateboarding game with a style drawn from the classic skate titles of the genre’s earlier years.
  • Tower Dominion — PS5 and PS4: This roguelike tower defense game gives players a partly generated map that can be expanded and adjusted through modular construction. Each run can produce a different battlefield and defensive plan.
  • Wild Blue Skies — PS5: A modern on-rails action game modeled after the high-score adventures that became popular during the 1990s.

Friday, August 14

  • Grave Seasons — PS5: After escaping from jail, players settle in Ashenridge and try to build a new farming life. Murders soon begin in the seemingly peaceful town, putting that fresh start in danger.

With 12 games scheduled for August 13 alone, Thursday will be the busiest day of the release calendar. The week’s mix gives PS5 owners plenty of different directions to take, from cooperative zombie survival and war games to smaller arcade releases and story-driven adventures.
