World of Tanks’ 16th Anniversary Celebration Starts August 12 With a New Journey Event

The August 12–31 celebration will feature route-based rewards, welcome-back gifts for commanders absent at least 60 days, and anniversary bundles featuring Milo.

World of Tanks will begin its 16th-anniversary celebration on August 12, with the event scheduled to run through August 31, 2026. The game’s August calendar confirms the event window, while Wargaming’s 16th-anniversary announcement details a new Journey event, return-player gifts, Drops, anniversary bundles, and more rewards.

The centerpiece is Journey, a map-based event that sends commanders through familiar World of Tanks locations. Players will collect Fuel, choose which route to follow, and earn rewards as they move forward. The system also allows players to pursue specific prizes or work toward the complete reward collection.

The largest rewards include exclusive 3D attachments and the brand-new Chi-Go. That gives the event a clear progression goal, whether players want to chase one particular item or complete the entire trip.

Welcome-back gifts and anniversary bundles

Commanders who have been away from the game for 60 days or longer will receive welcome-back rewards designed to help them return to battle. The package includes gifts, missions, and bonuses tied to the anniversary celebration.

Anniversary bundles will also go on sale, including the exclusive four-legged Garage companion Milo. The companion will be available for purchase for the first time and brings additional Fuel to help with Journey progress.

Alongside Journey and the return-player rewards, the anniversary will feature Drops, exclusive bundles, gifts, and other event rewards. The celebration is scheduled to cover the second half of August, giving commanders several weeks to follow their chosen route and collect what they want.
