Pokémon GO’s Necrozma Adventure Effects Can Attract Pokémon for Two Hours

The suggested two-hour setup costs 36 Necrozma Candy and 36,000 Stardust, while each visible Sunsteel Strike activation lasts 10 minutes.

Pokémon GO players with Dawn Wings or Dusk Mane Necrozma may have an extra way to attract Pokémon without spending a regular Incense item. Both fused forms come with an Adventure Effect that can be activated repeatedly, turning spare Necrozma Candy and Stardust into a longer Pokémon-attracting session.

Dusk Mane Necrozma’s Sunsteel Strike lasts 10 minutes per activation, attracts Pokémon found during the day, and also allows daytime evolution. The effect costs 3 Necrozma Candy and 3,000 Stardust per use.

How to stretch the effect to two hours

Reactivating the effect 12 times would cover two hours. At the displayed cost, that works out to 36 Necrozma Candy and 36,000 Stardust. It does not appear to consume a standard Incense item, but the Candy and Stardust cost still makes this something to plan around rather than a completely free bonus.

The same idea applies to Dawn Wings Necrozma’s Adventure Effect, but its nighttime behavior and exact details have not been established. Trainers with enough resources may want to save the effect for an event or period when the daytime Pokémon pool is especially useful.

Before activating it, check the current spawn pool and make sure there is enough time to keep playing. Burning through 36 Candy and 36,000 Stardust only pays off when the Pokémon appearing during that window are worth the investment.
