Escape from Tarkov’s Kappa Checklist Currently Names Four Must-Do Quests

The player-compiled requirements also call for Level 4 loyalty with every trader and 3.0 Fence reputation, though they have not been officially confirmed.

Escape from Tarkov players working toward the Kappa unlock may be able to skip a long list of older quest requirements. A player-compiled checklist currently names four must-do quests, along with trader loyalty, character level, and Fence reputation gates.

Four quests currently named for Kappa

The checklist identifies the following quests as required:

  • A Shooter Born in Heaven — Mechanic
  • Chemical – Part 4 — Skier, Therapist, or Prapor choice
  • The Tarkov Shooter – Part 4 — Jaeger
  • Sew It Good – Part 4 — Ragman

That is a much more focused route than blindly completing every difficult quest that appears in an older Kappa checklist. The Chemical – Part 4 requirement is the only one here with a trader choice, while the other three are tied to specific traders.

The level, loyalty, and Fence gates

Quest completion is only part of the requirement list. The checklist also calls for:

  • Level 40, with an important qualification: Ragman needs the character to be Level 42 to reach Level 4 loyalty.
  • Level 4 loyalty with every trader.
  • Fence reputation of 3.0.

Because Ragman’s Level 4 requirement is listed at Level 42, that is the practical character target for anyone planning around the full checklist. Reaching Level 40 alone may not be enough if every trader must be at Level 4.

For now, the safest approach is to track these four quests, work toward Level 42, raise every trader to Level 4, and keep Fence reputation at 3.0 while the community checks whether the requirements hold across characters and modes.
