Meccha Chameleon fix3.6.1 Takes Aim at Crowd-Related Performance Drops
The two-item patch also corrects a filter that was catching common words, while the Emote Contest results are scheduled for August 9.

LEMORION has shared the notes for Meccha Chameleon fix3.6.1, with the latest patch focusing on character behavior and performance drops in games with high player counts. The developer posted the changes in an August 8 Steam announcement.
The fix also addresses a word-filtering problem. Certain blocked terms were accidentally filtering out common words, so the text filter should behave more accurately after the change.
This follows the recent Meccha Chameleon 3.4.0 changes, which added character types for Hunters and adjusted Paint Mode input.
Meccha Chameleon fix3.6.1 Patch Notes
The patch focuses on two areas: behavior and performance during high-player-count sessions, plus an issue affecting blocked-word filtering.
- Improved character behavior and significantly reduced performance drops caused by high player counts.
- Fixed an issue where certain blocked words were inadvertently filtering out common words.
The Emote Contest results will be announced on August 9, according to the notice.
