Borderlands 4’s Kairos roundup covers Bounty Pack 4, Version 1.9, and FL4K

Version 1.9 added dedicated drop sources for eight Pearlescent weapons and introduced two more Pearlescents alongside a new Legendary gun.

On August 7, the Borderlands Community Team published its newest Steam community roundup for Borderlands 4. The weekly post covers the now-available Bounty Pack 4, Version 1.9 loot changes, support resources, community creations, and the upcoming return of FL4K on September 10.

Bounty Pack 4 is available on Kairos

Bounty Pack 4: Murders and Acquisitions sends Levaine, leader of the Electi, to the Toxic Scowl after a group of pacifist Rippers called The Flock reaches out for help. Their peaceful community has been established in the polluted desert canyon, but The Blasphemers, an aggressive Ripper group, have seized a nearby Order facility.

The DLC adds one Pearlescent weapon and six Legendary pieces of gear. Bounty Pack 4 is split into two parts: the repeatable mission from Murders and Acquisitions and the rewards earned through gameplay with Vault Card 4. The content is included with the Borderlands 4 Bounty Pack Bundle, the Deluxe Edition, and the Super Deluxe Edition. It can also be purchased separately, with the base game required.

FL4K’s next hunt begins September 10

Story Pack 2: FL4K and the Last Resort will launch on September 10 alongside Loveless the Hacker and Bounty Pack 5. FL4K continues The Hunt on Kairos while searching for the missing skag companion Mr. Chew.

The trail leads to a volcanic resort covered in jungle growth on a lush island. Tediore is also beginning the early stages of a covert invasion there, putting the returning Vault Hunter in the middle of another corporate conflict.

FL4K was a playable Vault Hunter in Borderlands 3. In this new narrative content, the character serves as the focal-point NPC, giving the story a direct connection to one of the series’ previous heroes.

Support resources and community creations

The roundup also points players toward its recurring support materials. Anyone submitting a ticket can use the ticket submission instructions and attach a DxDiag or MSinfo file. A separate walkthrough for attaching those files is available for players who need help preparing them.

Steam Community Photopalooza included four Kairos captures, including Clapdaddy’s screenshot, another Kairos capture, a separate community scene, and one more image from the gallery.
