War Thunder Update 2.57.1.70 Brings Scimitar Mk.2 Changes and Graphics Fixes

The patch adds L21A1 APFSDS to the Scimitar Mk.2, moves one modification to Tier I, and fixes Ray Tracing shadow issues.

War Thunder Update 2.57.1.70 focuses on vehicle adjustments and two graphics fixes. On August 6, 2026, Gaijin Entertainment published the details in its Steam announcement, confirming that planned Battle Rating changes have come into effect.

The Scimitar Mk.2 receives several equipment and research changes, while the 9M113 ATGM gets more responsive autopilot behavior. The update also addresses tree shadows during Ray Tracing and interface visibility in NVIDIA Ansel.

This follows the earlier War Thunder 2.57.1.67 update, which focused on Ground Battles interface behavior, map issues, and vehicle audio.
