Deep Rock Galactic’s 2026 Space Beach Party Will Bring New Hats and Double XP
The two-week event will begin on August 6 with a Tactical Turtle hat, lost pool floaties, returning cosmetics, and a decorated Space Rig.
Deep Rock Galactic will celebrate summer with its 2026 Space Beach Party, which begins Thursday, August 6, at 13:00 CEST and runs for two weeks. Ghost Ship Games shared the event details in a Steam announcement.
The event sends miners after a shipment of pool floaties that missed the Space Rig and continued toward Hoxxes. Teams will need to locate the lost inflatables and deposit them during their missions. Completing that task will grant a Double Performance Pass Point Bonus.

A new turtle-themed hat
The main cosmetic reward is the Tactical Turtle hat, nicknamed “Shelly the Shellmet.” Players can earn it by completing the Space Beach Party assignment from the Mission Terminal. It may not stop every Glyphid bite, but it certainly gives the standard mining uniform a very amphibious makeover.

Players who missed earlier Beach Party celebrations can also catch up. Completing one work assignment will award all previous Beach Party hats, giving latecomers a way to fill out their collection during this year’s event.
The Space Rig gets a beach makeover
The Space Rig will once again feature colorful lanterns, fake palm trees, and beach inflatables. The decorations are meant to bring a little vacation energy to the mining station, even if the nearby work assignments remain very much on company time.
New Deep Rock Galactic merchandise is also planned
The announcement also highlighted an upcoming collection from Heroic Replicas. The merchandise will include a reissue of the Deep Rock Galactic soundtrack on vinyl, the Rogue Core soundtrack on vinyl, new T-shirts, DRG underwear, and a full-metal 16-pound pickaxe.
A notification page for the Heroic Replicas Kickstarter is available ahead of its launch.
