Palworld players dealing with frequent gameplay stutters can now try a mod designed to target several specific causes. Created by modder SolTeLu, the UE4SS C++ project focuses on unnecessary game updates that can interrupt play during looting, combat, aiming, and sprinting.
The mod addresses stutters that can occur when collecting dropped items or large amounts of mined resources. It also targets pauses when opening and looting field treasure chests, as well as issues triggered by aiming and sprinting at the same time with RMB + Shift.
Combat receives attention, too. The mod works on stutters that may appear when firing weapons or striking Pals, with the issue being especially noticeable when Pals are part of the player’s party.
How the Palworld stutter fix works
SolTeLu’s mod does not attempt to solve every performance problem in the game. Traversal stutters, for example, are outside its scope. Instead, it cuts down on repeated notifications and refreshes that do not lead to a meaningful change.
For inventories and treasure chests, the mod checks whether an item actually changed. When a change has no effect on passive abilities, it skips the extra update. During combat, aiming, and sprinting, it filters out repeated notifications that contain no new information. Repeated HUD updates are also grouped into one refresh per frame.
The creator says genuine gameplay behavior remains intact. Inventory changes, rewards, passive abilities, and other real game events continue to work normally. If one of the mod’s hooks or checks runs into a problem, it falls back to the game’s original code instead of blocking the underlying system.
Players can find the project and its installation details on the Palworld mod page on Nexus Mods. Since it only targets the stutter sources listed by its creator, it should be viewed as a focused fix rather than a general performance overhaul.
Palworld also has graphics-focused community projects, including a 1.0 mod that adds ray-traced lighting, longer draw distance, brighter environmental lighting, and dynamic shadows. Those visual changes are separate from SolTeLu’s performance-focused work.
