The First Descendant issued penalties against 388 accounts during its latest review of abusive activity, covering the period from July 17 through July 23, 2026, in PDT. Nexon detailed the results in its official Steam notice.
The enforcement included 10 permanent game bans. Seven accounts were banned for creating, distributing, or using unauthorized programs, while three more were punished for exploiting processes connected to the Open Store payment system to gain unfair benefits.
Nexon also restricted one account from accessing the game for 30 days after detecting unusual gameplay activity. Another 377 accounts received three-day separate matchmaking penalties for activity handled under the game’s operational policy.
How The First Descendant handled the cases
The developer said its enforcement decisions were based on player reports and its own monitoring systems. Account names were partially masked in the notice, so the published list does not reveal the full identities of the affected users.
Nexon asked players to report abnormal or abusive behavior through The First Descendant’s in-game reporting feature. Players who believe an Open Store payment-related penalty was issued in error were directed to contact customer service through the official website. Cases involving payment reversals or chargebacks must be raised with the platform store used for the transaction.
This latest action follows another enforcement report covering July 10 through July 16, when the game permanently banned 14 users and issued temporary penalties to 318 more accounts.
