PUBG Handed Out 25,233 Bans During Its Latest Weekly Review
The July 13-19 enforcement report also lists 8,572 banned devices and 11,876 affected accounts.
PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS banned 25,233 accounts during its investigation period from July 13 through July 19. The figures appeared in the game’s latest weekly bans notice, published on July 22.
Cheating accounted for the largest share of the action, with 16,632 accounts banned. The remaining cases involved 5,157 team-killing bans, 3,065 bans for abusing, and 379 teaming bans.
Devices and affected accounts
The same report lists 8,572 devices banned and 11,876 affected accounts for the period. PUBG said the figures were part of its effort to call attention to illegal software and other violations of its rules of conduct.
The full list of permanently banned accounts is available in an official PDF document. The in-game nicknames shown in the attached list have their first three characters replaced with asterisks.
How to report misconduct
PUBG asks players to use the in-game reporting tools first when they encounter illegal software or misconduct. Players who need more help can contact PUBG Support.
