skate. Opens The Stadium for X Games San Van
The event runs through August 25, while Update 0.31.5 is live with a fresh list of known issues still under investigation.

skate. has opened The Stadium to everyone for the start of X Games San Van. Full Circle announced the event in the July 21 Weekly Grind, confirming that it will run from July 21 through August 25.
Stadium access is now free, so players do not need Rip Chips or a skate.Premium Pass to enter. The event adds Spot Battles, leaderboard competition, and X Games-themed gear. If The Stadium does not appear after signing in, the team recommends restarting the game.
More information about the event is available in Full Circle’s X Games San Van details. The developer also worked with Vansta on a community-made trailer for the event.
New activities and community events
The Deck UGC Contest remains open in the official skate. Discord through July 31. Players can submit their deck designs using the contest rules posted by EA.
Another community contest is planned for July 31 through August 5. The X Games “Best Run” Video Contest will focus on player clips, with more details scheduled for next week. Full Circle also listed upcoming Weekly Grind interviews and additional X Games San Van design content.
Update 0.31.5 is live alongside the event. The team said the update addressed many bugs, while several issues remain under investigation. Players can review the official update notes for the full list of fixes.
Known issues in skate.
- Some players cannot export videos in MP4 format. On PC, exporting in WebM format works as a workaround.
- Pinned tasks do not stay pinned after the game reconnects following inactivity.
- Changing the graphics preset does not update the settings displayed at the bottom of the Graphics screen.
- The 16:9 centered HUD and full-width-and-height UI options do not work in Windowed mode.
- Daily and Mastery Task sections can sometimes show a blank screen.
- The Quick Drop radial menu temporarily resets after joining a server.
- AMD driver 26.6.1 can cause skate. to crash. Rolling back to driver 26.5.2 and restarting the game is the current workaround.
- Tailslides and Noseslides are not detected correctly when approaching a ledge from its end.
- The friends list can show duplicate entries for the same friend or fail to show friends at all.
- Wallride detection can cause a skater to flip unnaturally.
- The Smith-to-Tailslide task can fail to register even when performed correctly.
- The wrong item can appear when using the Quick Drop menu to place an object.
