PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS recorded 28,441 account bans during its investigation period from July 6 through July 12, according to the game’s official weekly bans notice. The report also lists 10,017 banned devices and 15,908 affected accounts.
Cheating accounted for the largest share of the enforcement action, with 20,506 accounts listed under that category. The remaining bans covered 4,721 team-killing cases, 2,753 abuse cases, and 461 teaming cases.
For comparison, the previous weekly report covering June 29 through July 5 listed 27,194 banned accounts, so the latest total was higher by 1,247 accounts. That earlier breakdown is available in the previous PUBG bans report.
The attached list contains the in-game nicknames of permanently banned accounts, but the first three characters of each name are replaced with asterisks. PUBG also provided a full PDF list of permanently banned accounts for players who want to check the complete record.
Players should submit reports about illegal software or other misconduct through the in-game reporting tools first. For further help, the notice directs players to PUBG Support. It also recommends protecting Steam accounts with the Steam Guard Mobile Authenticator.
