Monster Hunter Wilds Will Retire Three Bundles Before the Gold Edition Arrives

The new Gold Edition will include the base game and Cosmetic DLC Collection, while the game's permanent MSRP will decrease on August 4, 2026.

Monster Hunter Wilds will discontinue three existing products on August 4, 2026, at 12:00 a.m. UTC. The change will make room for new bundles that group the game’s cosmetic DLC into fewer purchase options.

The official Steam announcement lists the discontinued products as the Monster Hunter Wilds Deluxe Edition, Monster Hunter Wilds Premium Deluxe Edition, and Monster Hunter Wilds Cosmetic DLC Pass. The cutoff will take place at 1:00 a.m. BST and August 3 at 5:00 p.m. PDT.

Players who already own any of those products will keep access to them after August 4. The DLC Packs and individual items included in the retiring bundles will also remain available as separate products.

New Monster Hunter Wilds bundles

The main addition will be the Monster Hunter Wilds Gold Edition, which will include the base game and the Cosmetic DLC Collection. The new bundle will be available on or after August 4, 2026.

Players who already own the base game will be able to purchase the Cosmetic DLC Collection separately. It includes Cosmetic DLC Packs 1-4, the four Festival of Accord DLC Packs—Blossomdance, Flamefete, Dreamspell, and Lumenhymn—along with the Deluxe Pack and Extras Cosmetic DLC Pack. That adds up to 10 DLC Packs in one bundle.

The Monster Hunter Wilds Extras Cosmetic DLC Pack will also be introduced. It contains select paid cosmetic DLC that was previously sold as standalone products. The premium bonuses from the Premium Deluxe Edition and Cosmetic DLC Pass will be included in the new products.

Store pages will provide the final contents, prices, and other details after the new products become available. The base game’s permanent MSRP will also decrease starting August 4, 2026.

Players planning to buy Monster Hunter Wilds should compare the new bundles with the individual DLC options once the store pages update. Share your thoughts in the comments, and follow us on X, Bluesky, YouTube, and Instagram.
