Manor Lords beta 0.8.089 keeps pressing on pathfinding and worker fixes
Slavic Magic says players should back up saves, remove mods, and use the pre_release branch on Steam with the password veryNiceBasket.

Manor Lords beta 0.8.089 is now available for testing on Steam, and Slavic Magic is still grinding away at the same trouble spots that keep a medieval settlement from running cleanly: pathfinding, stuck workers, and a handful of visual oddities.
Before switching branches, the studio recommends backing up saves and removing mods. To jump in, open Steam, right-click Manor Lords, go to Properties, open the BETAS tab, enter veryNiceBasket, and choose pre_release. If the client does not update on its own, restarting Steam should do the trick. Feedback and bug reports can be posted on the feedback forum and the bug reports forum.
This round follows the earlier beta build centered on stuck workers and pathfinding, but version 0.8.086–0.8.089 also folds in a cleaner pass on visuals and a performance bump tied to manor construction with stone walls.

Bugfixes
General
- Fixed characters sometimes not waiting until another character finishes action, for example at the well, and trying to force their way through.
Pathfinding
- Fix attempt for another rare case of an ox guide getting stuck in an infinite loop due to not being able to decide which side of the ox is closer to get to.
- Fixed workers forever stuck drinking at the tavern.
- Fixed Gatehouse being opened and closed not relinking pathfinding properly, leading to soldiers getting stuck inside the castle.
- Fixed pathfinding sometimes returning an invalid path when selecting a target inside up on the walls while Gatehouse was opening.
- Fixed pathfinding points not getting recreated after rebuilding a Residential Plot, possibly leading to workers getting stuck during construction.
Cosmetic/Visuals
- Tuned lake collision in the Mandlach region on Lake Lemm to prevent fishermen going underwater.
- Fixed dead characters looping into animation after loading (Beta).
- Fixed handcart goods sometimes floating at the world center (Beta).
- Fixed tree falling logic always executing at x1 speed.
- Fixed blacksmith extension gable levitating after fire.
- Fixed another case of Ox Guides limping (Beta).
- Fixed looping pig death animation.
- Fixed building parts sometimes becoming invisible upon finishing construction.
Optimization
- Significantly improved performance when constructing manor with stone walls.
