The latest clue lines up with the game’s recent run of Zone-focused updates, including the June 17 patch that pushed lighting changes and South Zone work further along. The image attached to the Steam news shows a rain-soaked stretch of the Zone, lightning splitting the sky, and a first-person view over a scoped rifle.
There is no longer write-up attached to the announcement, so the teaser reads more like a question than a clear reveal. For now, it simply adds another eerie beat to the game’s ongoing post-patch rollout.
