Call of Duty: Mobile is making Persona 5 Royal the star of Season 6, and the crossover brings a lot more than themed cosmetics. Activision is pairing the collaboration with a new Plunder twist, a fresh Multiplayer mode, ranked rewards, event tracks, a Battle Pass, and multiple Armories built around the Phantom Thieves.
The update will arrive on July 1 at 5PM PT. It follows the crossover push in Season 5: Revenge, but this season leans into Persona’s style with red-tinged domains, mask-themed bonuses, and a much larger focus on the JRPG’s cast and imagery.
Persona 5 Royal takes center stage
Season 6 opens with Plunder Treasure Hunt, a Persona 5 Royal spin on Battle Royale’s Plunder mode. Parts of Isolated will light up as special domains, and once players move into one of those zones, the HUD shifts to Persona 5 Royal visuals. Inside, squads will need to fight through three waves of NPC Shadows, hold off other teams, and claim the treasure chest to walk away with cash and masks that grant match-long bonuses.
The season also adds Throwable Frenzy, a 5v5 mode built around the Combat Axe. Teams race to hit randomly spawning targets across the arena while trying to slow down the other side by taking out enemy players. There are no Loadouts or Scorestreaks in the mode, only three pre-match buffs that can be unlocked with tokens or through play. The team with the highest score when the timer expires wins.
Ranked rewards, events, and the Battle Pass
Ranked Play gets a fresh reward ladder as well. Multiplayer players can earn the SO-14 — Onyx Wrath Weapon Blueprint, while Battle Royale rewards include the Enigma — Zavesa Operator Skin.
Seasonal events will keep the rewards coming. The Persona 5 Royal themed event includes shooting galleries based on the Palaces from the game’s story, along with a Nuclear Strike customization option, weapons, a motorcycle skin, six Weapon Charms, and six Calling Cards. A separate summer event adds the Urban Tracker — Summer Sunrise Operator Skin and the M16 — Sparkling Citrus Weapon Blueprint, while other seasonal tasks will lead to rewards such as the Legendary MG42 — High Octane.
The Take Your Heart Pass brings the season’s new free and premium rewards, including the FSS Hurricane SMG and the VTOL Jet Scorestreak on the free track. Premium tiers add four Epic Operator Skins, including High Priest of Chaos — Judgement and Kryptis — Refraction, plus weapon blueprints such as CX9 — Custos Sanguinis and FSS Hurricane — Shattered Reflection.
Players who buy the Battle Pass Subscription will also get monthly Ground Forces rewards, a 10% boost to Player and Weapon XP, discount coupons, and reduced 10x crate pulls. This season’s Ground Forces bundle includes the Nova — Lion’s Might Operator Skin, the FAL — A Shadow in Red Weapon Blueprint, and Backpack — A Shadow in Red.
There is also a Season 6 Challenge Pass with Standard, Special, and Elite Missions that award Tokens for the Exchange. Among the listed rewards are the 3-Line Rifle — Variegated Corrosion Weapon Blueprint, the Mission Debrief Weapon Camo, and the Newtonian Weapon Charm.
Mythic weapons and Persona 5 Royal Armories
The store update adds a Mythic draw built around the Mythic FSS Hurricane — Shadow Skyline Weapon Blueprint. Other items in the draw include the Samael — Hollow Regent Operator Skin, Tactical Melee — Spectral Spike Blueprint, and Holger 26 — Shadow and Shade Weapon Blueprint.
The Persona 5 Royal crossover also gets two Armories. The Operator Series Armory includes Cipher — Joker, Scylla — Panther, Alias — Queen, and Urban Tracker — Violet, along with collection rewards like the Legendary ORV — Morgana Vehicle Skin and a Mythic animated calling card. The Weapon Series Armory includes the LK24 — Arsène, QQ9 — Carmen, Type 63 — Johanna, and RAM-7 — Cendrillon blueprints, plus the Antelope A20 — Phantom Show.
