Dead by Daylight 10.0.1 lines up Shane Wiigwaas and Black Banquet for June 25

The patch also fixes audio, character, map, perk, UI, and stability issues, while Lend a Hand gets a follow-up adjustment in the changes-from-release section.

Dead by Daylight patch 10.0.1 notes arrived on June 23, and they point to a June 25 arrival for Shane Wiigwaas and the game’s 10th Anniversary Black Banquet event.

The rest of the changelog is mostly cleanup. Audio, characters, maps, perks, UI, and general stability all get attention, and Lend a Hand gets another tweak in the changes-from-release section.

Patch Notes

The biggest changes here are the new Survivor, the anniversary event, and a broad bug-fix pass that touches a lot of the game. Lend a Hand also changes again after release so it can fire more than once per match when its condition is met again.

New Survivor Perks

  • Wide Open Throttle

    • Whenever you fast-vault a Pallet:

      • You gain 10/12.5/15% Haste for 3s.

      • The Pallet is reset, blocked for 60s, and all Survivors see its Aura for that time.

    • Cooldown: 60s.

  • Lend a Hand

    • Whenever you bless or cleanse 1 Totem, while healing another Survivor and only once per Survivor, use “F” to give them 2/3/4 permanent healing charges.

  • Cross-Examination

    • While in the Killer’s Terror Radius, the Killer leaves Light Marks that lasts for 10s that you can see. While on the Killer’s Light Marks, you gain Elusive. This ends after 3/4/5s.

      • Cross-Examination (CHANGE WILL BE IMPLEMENTED IN BUGFIX PATCH 3)

      • While in the Killer’s Terror Radius and not being chased by the Killer, the Killer leaves Light Marks that lasts for 10s that you can see. While on the Killer’s Light Marks, you gain Elusive. This ends after 3/4/5s.

        • Added the “not being chased by the Killer” to perk conditions

Event

  • The 10th Anniversary “Black Banquet” event will start Thursday, June 25th at 11:00 AM Eastern.

Event Matches feature a Main Course and a Dessert, with each one offering a unique gameplay experience to feast on.

  • Main Course: Takes place from the start of the match until 4 Generators are completed OR 1 Survivor remains.

  • Dessert: After Main Course until the end of the match

At the start of each Trial, the Menu of the Day will be selected and dictate 3 effects that will persist throughout the match:

  • A Global Effect that persists through the entire Main Course

  • A Personal Effect granted to Survivors dining on Morsels found at Dining Carts

  • A Payoff Effect for Survivors that place enough Morsels of food on Banquet Tables in the map

Killers gain a powerful Poison they can throw at Survivors or secretly poison objects with. Poison limits Survivor Sprinting while it’s active.

The 3 Menu of the Day with their themes are: 1. Stuffed Trotters: Speed

2. Creamy Pasta: Pallets & Invincibility

3. Baked Camembert: Portals & Invisibility

Audio

  • Fixed an issue causing too much delay between healing end and saved voiceover.

  • Fixed an internal issue causing a missing Killer voiceover in certain scenarios.

  • Refactored all survivors & killers to say their intended lobby voiceover in the audio system.

  • Fixed an issue where killer subtitles were appearing during survivor point of view, whilst the killer is out of visual range.

  • Fixed an issue causing muffled environment audio a few seconds after starting a trial.

  • Fixed an issue where The Cannibal’s Chainsaw SFX was still playing when carrying a Survivor.

  • Fixed an issue where Pallet stun stinger SFX was missing for Jason.

  • Fixed an issue where the wrong SFX was played during the Trial Intro animation for Trickster.

  • Fixed an issue causing the VO grunts of the Spirit to keep being from her Tomie customization after switching outfits.

  • Fixed an issue when playing against The Artist, Survivors would not receive the Exposed SFX from the Garden of Rot addon after removing crows

  • Fixed an issue where The Dark Lord’s Terror Radius lingered before ending after shapeshifting to Bat Form.

  • Fixed an issue where The Slasher’s teleport mist played break audio when aimed at a dropped pallet.

Characters

  • Fixed an issue where The Nurse was missing a fire effect with a specific customization.

  • Fixed an issue where The First has a deformed eye and a pointy nose during a Mori in Worldbreaker mode.

  • Fixed an issue where as The First, Survivors getting hit with a Vine Attack while dropping a pallet would not enter the floating state

  • Fixed an issue where The Knight’s Guards pathing behaved incorrectly around dropped pallets during a chase.

  • Fixed an issue where The Knight did not have highlight aura feedback for guard orders on pallets.

  • Fixed an issue where The Animatronic was missing flashlight immunity when grabbing a Survivor inside a doorway.

  • Fixed an issue where The Dark Lord’s wolf form backward movement speed incorrectly remained at 4.6 m/s.

  • Fixed an issue where The Mastermind could not freely move the camera between dash buffers.

  • Fixed an issue where visual issues occurred when The Slasher performed a Mini Mori near the end of a Spike’s duration

  • Fixed an issue where Survivors briefly appeared impaled after being unpinned by The Slasher.

  • Fixed an issue where The Mastermind’s Virulent Bound dash reset animation played too early.

  • Fixed an issue where The Deathslinger performing a basic attack while a Survivor was affected by their power could crash the application.

  • Fixed an issue where The Slasher’s Mini Mori animation was misaligned on downed impaled Survivors.

Environment/Maps

  • Fixed an issue in Sanctum of Wrath where the players could climb up a rock

  • Fixed an issue in Trickster’s Delusion where the Legion could not fast vault over a pallet in the market area

  • Fixed an issue in Ormond Lake Mine where projectiles can be blocked over some assets

Perks

  • Fixed an issue where the scream notification bubble appeared for the last remaining Survivor affected by Hex: Face the Darkness.

  • Fixed an issue where the Perk Alert would trigger twice when the Knight used a Guard to Break Pallet.

  • Fixed an issue where the perk Hex: The Third Seal would activate incorrectly when The Trickster hit a Survivor with a blade for the first time.

  • Fixed an issue where Buckle Up could not activate while recovering with Conviction.

  • Fixed an issue where the Perk For the People could not be used a second time.

  • Fixed an issue where A Nurse’s Calling incorrectly revealed the auras of Survivors being healed from the dying state.

  • Fixed an issue where Wide Open Throttle did not go on cooldown when triggering Dissolution.

UI

  • Fixed an issue where the stamina bar would stay on screen until the end of the match when monitoring the animatronics security terminal while poisoned.

  • Fixed an issue where the mending bar would appear and stay on screen when a survivor would interact with a security cameras.

  • Fixed an issue where spectators could not see The Slasher’s mist during Omnipresent Evil.

  • Fixed an issue where Survivors would incorrectly get the failed skill check animation when restarting work on the Lament Configuration.

  • Fixed an issue where Omnipresent Evil red mist was incorrectly visible on other Survivors in spectator view.

  • Fixed an issue where Spine Chill duration indicator would flicker when the Survivor stood at the edge of the Killer’s line of sight.

Misc

  • Fixed an issue where “Save Game Error” could close the application.

  • Fixed an issue causing player controller inputs to register when using the mouse & keyboard.

  • Fixed an issue where confetti VFX were missing from two Event Med-Kits.

Changes from Release

New Perks

  • Lend a Hand:

    • Changed the perk so the effect can be used multiple times (still only once per other Survivor) as long as you fulfill the condition again, instead of only once per match.

Known Issues

  • During Regular and Custom Trials, Spectator will not be able to leave until Trial ends (Spectator will leave automatically right after).
