Call of Duty Mobile launched a week ago. In the beginning, no one ever believed that it would become a favorite title for mobile gamers. But, as time went by, things started to twist. With that being said, it is time to reassess its current standing. Until now, combined between iOS and Android, Call of Duty Mobile is noticing over 100 million downloads in just the first week of release.
This statement has been backed up by Reuters and Sensor Tower, which confirms that this mobile video game franchise has just bypassed Fortnite and PUBG combined. On initial release, Fortnite has managed to get around 26 million while PUBG was falling behind slightly, with 22.5 million downloads.
That makes Call of Duty Mobile overtake the number one spot by quite a significant margin, and declare itself for the best and most successful mobile game launch ever.
This CoD Blackout-alike first-person shooter launched on October 1st. Sensor Tower has confirmed its success shortly after the launch of both Apple’s APP Store and Google Play.
