DayZ is back on Steam with a publisher sale that cuts the base game and bundles by as much as 55%, and the promotion runs through June 25, 2026.
The sale also puts DayZ Frostline at 50% off. The publisher notes that the expansion has hit an all-time low, while the Deluxe Edition is down by up to 50% and the Cool Edition is down by up to 40%.
There is a bit more happening around the game than a price cut. The 1.29 Road to Badlands update is coming next as the bridge to DayZ Badlands, and the team said it will keep posting Badlands dev blogs every three weeks.
For anyone who has not spent time in DayZ before, the setup is still brutal. Chernarus and Livonia are hit by an unknown virus, most of the population turns infected, and the survivors left behind end up fighting over scarce resources while trying to stay alive.
