Less than a day after pre-orders opened, Marvel’s Wolverine had already climbed to the top of the PS Store charts. The game moved ahead of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 in the US and UK, and it also came out ahead in Spain.
The version leading the pack is the $79.99 Deluxe Edition. That bundle includes the full game, five exclusive suits, and claws, which gives buyers more than the standard release.
That lines up with Insomniac’s earlier stance on pre-orders, when the studio said it wanted players to see more gameplay first. Insomniac also confirmed this week that Marvel’s Wolverine is a linear, single-player action game rather than an open-world one, and the first full gameplay demo showed Logan fighting goons and chasing trucks on a motorcycle.
