The latest Patch 12.0.7 PTR build has added a new vendor to the Showdown zones, and Zuronar is carrying Lightforged-themed weapons and housing decor. The catch is simple enough: a good chunk of the good stuff has to be earned first.
That fits a broader trend of cosmetic vendors in World of Warcraft, including the Dornogal vendors that now sell Midnight PvP transmog for Marks of Honor.
Lightforged weapons in Patch 12.0.7
Zuronar’s weapon stock starts with Arsenal: Lightforged Armaments. It costs 60 Field Accolade and 500 Voidlight Marl, and it asks players to complete the Showdown Slugger achievements, which require killing at least six rares in both Showdown zones. The payoff is a 2H Sword, a Polearm, and an Off-Hand frill.
Two other weapons, Lightruned Crystal Beacon and Lightveil Argunite Blade, also cost 60 Field Accolade and 500 Voidlight Marl, but they are unlocked by default.
Lightforged housing decor
The decor side is even stricter. Every Lightforged housing item on this vendor is tied to an achievement, so players will need to clear more of the zone content before they can start filling out their house.
- Prepared for a Showdown requires finishing the main hub quests for both Showdown zones.
- Pain of Command requires killing both world bosses, Imperator Pertinax in Val and Nexus-Captain Leth’ir in Naigtal.
After that, Zuronar sells the De-Powered Lightforged Siegebreaker for 500 Voidlight Marl, the Grand Artificer’s Lightforged Console for 250, and Lightveil’s Transport Pad for 250. The Luminant Soldier’s War Banner, Luminant Defender’s Golden Barricade, and Luminant Scout’s Golden Fence each cost 150 Voidlight Marl and are locked behind Pain of Command.
If you’re planning to chase these unlocks on the PTR, the Lightforged lineup gives you a clear reason to keep clearing Showdown content. Share your thoughts in the comments, and follow us on X, Bluesky, YouTube, and Instagram.
