Arc Raiders gets a fix for the Expedition skill point bug
Embark says version 1.28.0 has solved the issue and will hand missing points to affected accounts in the coming days.

Arc Raiders has a fresh patch out, and Embark says the fix is aimed squarely at the missing skill points problem tied to Expeditions.
The issue showed up after the third Expedition ended on May 11, when some players said they left the run without the bonus points they were supposed to earn. In ARC Raiders, Expeditions let players reset progress for permanent rewards, and the final two weeks of the Expedition Window can hand out up to five bonus skill points.
That same Expedition setup has already drawn attention around the game, including player calls for clarity on the second Expedition window as it wound down.
Embark first said it was looking into the bug, then posted on X that it had solved the issue while it continued checking which accounts were affected.
Patch Notes
Version 1.28.0 keeps the change list short. The biggest fix is the skill point issue, and the other visible addition is a new store rotation that brings in The Castaway Set.
“The team is aware of an issue causing some expeditioners to be missing skill points after departing,” it stated on the official Arc Raiders website.
“While we have managed to solve the issue, we are still tracking down the remaining accounts affected and will be granting skill points in the following days.”
Embark also said the third and final update to the Patchwork outfit was available to anyone who departed in their Caravans. The patch follows version 1.26.0, Riven Tides, which added a new map and other features but also broke crossplay multiplayer before that problem was fixed a few days later.
