Dead by Daylight gives Killer players something to do while the queue runs

The new queue prompt lets Killer players jump into a Survivor Trial while matchmaking keeps running in the background.

Dead by Daylight players now have a new way to fill the time before a Killer match starts. Play While You Wait is now available in 1v4, and the prompt appears when you queue for Killer so you can jump into a Survivor Trial instead of sitting in the lobby.

It is a simple idea, but a smart one. If the feature shows up in your queue, it gives you something to do while matchmaking keeps running in the background, which should make the wait feel a little less empty.

Dead by Daylight

Trapped forever in a realm of eldritch evil where even death is not an escape, four determined Survivors face a bloodthirsty Killer in a vicious game of nerve and wits. Pick a side and step into a world of tension and terror with horror gaming's best asymmetrical multiplayer.

Survivors play in third-person and have the advantage of better situational awareness. The Killer plays in first-person and is more focused on their prey.

The Survivors' goal in each encounter is to escape the Killing Ground without getting caught by the Killer - something that sounds easier than it is, especially when the environment changes every time you play.
