BO7’s Lost Outpost event is live, and the reward grind is straightforward once you know the Beacon loop
The limited-time event runs through April 23, 2026, and players can earn a Strider 300 sniper rifle, the Terminal animated camo, and more by collecting Beacons in multiplayer, Zombies, Endgame, and Warzone.

The Lost Outpost event has gone live in Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 and Warzone Season 3, giving players a new limited-time reward track built around Beacons, random Care Packages, and a final mastery camo.
The event began on April 7, 2026, at 12 p.m. CT and will run until April 23, 2026. Activision moved the start up after a store bundle made the Strider 300 available earlier than planned, and Treyarch explained the change in a post on X.
Good news: we're rescheduling the start time of the Lost Outpost event to arrive tomorrow at 10am PT instead of later this week due to a technical issue with the store which allowed the Strider 300 to be obtained earlier than expected.

At its core, Lost Outpost is a collection event. You earn Beacons by getting eliminations in BO7 Multiplayer, Zombies, Endgame, and Warzone, opening loot caches in Warzone, or finishing matches in Ranked Play. Once you have enough, you spend them on Care Packages through the event page.
The reward system has three tiers. A 5-Beacon Care Package can give you items like the “Alpine Operation” large decal, the “Forest Outpost” weapon sticker, the “Package Insertion” animated emblem, plus Double Weapon XP and Double XP tokens. A 10-Beacon Care Package can drop the “Signal Found” weapon charm, the “Rainy Attack” animated calling card, the “Emergency Vacancy” loading screen, and longer-duration XP tokens. A 20-Beacon Care Package holds the event’s biggest prizes, including the Strider 300 sniper rifle, the “Vandal” blueprint for the Akita shotgun, the “Adrift” animated camo, and the “Southpaw” operator skin for Samuels.
The top reward is the Terminal animated camo, and unlocking it means opening all 20 Care Packages, which takes a total of 245 Beacons. If you want to speed through the event, Warzone Casual Resurgence and Casual Battle Royale are the smartest places to start. The casual playlists include bots, which makes eliminations easier and helps Beacons pile up faster. Rebirth Island and Haven’s Hollow also give players plenty of loot cache and Legendary box opportunities, which can speed the grind even more.

Lost Outpost is the kind of event that rewards steady play more than flashy luck, even if the Care Packages add a little randomness into the mix. If you are working through it, tell us what you think in the comments, and follow us on X, Bluesky, YouTube, Instagram for more Call of Duty news.
